Lots of political opinion posts. There seems to be an influx of non technical people posting culture war nonsense.

As the site grows the number of people interested in any specific tech gets smaller while the number of people interested in lifestyle posts (politics being a major category of those) grows. Ruby and or Rust specific posts get much less upvotes and lifestyle posts get much more upvotes and the frontpage with its limited real estate becomes less and less specific tech related. The problem will only continue to get worse as the population of users grows.

AI is new and of interest to lots of people so its closer to a lifestyle post at this point than it is a pytorch post that most people would not even click on.

Ruby still popup but you have to search for Ruby and sort by date.
The people who left reddit due to the API pricing had to go somewhere I guess
Sam Altman is testifying in Congress. Elon Musk is retweeting culture war BS all day. Tens of thousands of tech jobs are being slashed by CEOs as the cheap money tap gets turned off.

Why would things not be getting political?
