That's a great solution to the "mistake" for you. And while it's great to be able to launch and run your own company, not everyone wants the stress that comes with that. I've also "practiced" skills at work to improve myself, though I haven't launched a company. I've also worked with many colleagues who were great at their jobs, but that's all it was for them - a job. Their passions (which was sometimes just their family) lied elsewhere. They were just working to support that and were perfectly happy with their lives. I wouldn't try to take that from them. |
