Firefox can render pages faster than Chrome, if it still has a laggy scroll on macOS, I won't be using it.

Every six months, I go back to Firefox for a day or two, only to notice this scroll lag. Every time.

I use a macbook and do not notice any scroll lag. Have you got smooth scrolling on? If so, try turning it off.
