I only allow a few apps to present notifications on my phone so when one appears, it’s because I want it. I may decide to snooze it but I never just ignore it as a routine event. Most apps have too many events to be worth notifications. Looking at you Slack. Those are better handled by a periodic polling rather than push notifications. |

My phone notifications were useless until I did the same.
Deny notification access by default and "poll" your inbox/chats/etc with a calendar reminder 1, 3, or 5 times per day.
