I've wondered the same. Will keeping spare computers and electric grid parts shielded underground be the only thing that can be done? Is there anything that ordinary people can do, or would it need to be nation-state level coordination? From what I understand is that the grid transformers are the items that would be the biggest impacted and the hardest to rebuild at a scale needed once the grid gets hit?
