Even if you ask once and ask nicely, the question is bound to come up often enough to rate as annoying. Explaining makes matters worse, from the perspective of using another person's time and opening up the communication to misinterpretation (e.g. it may be construed as laying a guilt trip on the developer). So yes, asking a question can be rude. |
