I've been thinking how well a consensus of people can do versus a randomized opponent, and also what strategy the consensus will play, so I created a Chess Game on Twitter with this spirit. Rules: People on Twitter play as White and have 4 top engine moves to choose from, given in random order. Most upvoted move is played. Stockfish plays as Black and randomly selects a move from its top 4 choices. Moves choices for both are generated using Stockfish 16 on depth 21. Voting for a single move lasts 24h. Currently, it's move number 4 and the game so far is:
