As a concept I don’t think it’s any sillier than a “LEGO movie,” which was a huge hit with multiple sequels. It’s all about execution, and the Barbie movie has a promising set of creative people involved. By the same token, would as many people be excited about an Oppenheimer bio if it wasn’t Chris Nolan in the directors chair? Doubtful. |
