I visit a couple twitter feeds daily (because I don't particularly want an account and their RSS is broken), so presumably I normally have a warm cache. It typically takes anywhere from 4-8 seconds before the first tweet appears, and another 2-4 seconds before the page is fully loaded. Twitter is quite definitely the slowest website I visit on a regular basis. |
