Hi, HN!

For several months now I have been bothered by ChatGPT. It lacks a personality, it lacks good memory, I don't want to pay for it and I think that having a personality is not some big technical challenge.

The benefits for me personally is that I am more willing to trust something that knows me and understand how I learn, think and vital information about me that would help optimize a search like pre-existing health conditions to pick out a new health insurance plan.

Thats what I have built at Light Chat. Today it's only an improved (and much simpler UI). Light Chat does have a monetization strategy but Chat will remain free forever.

In the coming days we will improve our AI with a more personal AI that has long-term memory.
