Trying to simplifyy the pricing as much as possible is a step in the right direction.
However as we both know, it's extremely hard to dilute pricing into a simple equation like $x/months because sometimes there are multiple variable parts.
The complexity level of this pricing challenge is no different than the pricing enigmas for services by cloud providers.
What can help though is if you give pricing examples in simpler terms that your users can understand, similarly to how google does for their Firebase product here (https://firebase.google.com/docs/firestore/billing-example). This would definitely help. |
