Terrible idea. Weirdo lawyers have done more for poor and marginalized than silk stocking lawyers ever could. You reduce lawyers to divorces and traffic tickets and you cut off access to justice for the masses.
Weirdo lawyers are not the same as lawyers engaging in gross misconduct, and except for getting them into jail either as an employee of the federal executive branch or as a personal lawyer (but mostly propagandist) for its then-current head, Rudy Giuliani hasn’d done anything for the poor and marginalized as a lawyer. Certainly, he has never served them as their counsel.
(And not sure what he's done in other capacities for the poor and marginalized is a net win, either.)
