I feel like all the caveats and "as a large language model" stuff would ruin the mood. I wonder if they've found or negotiated a workaround? Seems like an obvious use case, but poorly suited to a general public model that's been heavily constrained in what it can say.

Now I'm curious about which is more powerful: One's desire to fulfill their sexual needs while in a state of arousal, or the cold demeanor of mechanical LLMs. People make do with many artificial tools (or rather, toys). How far do people go after the illusion has been broken?

Additionally, there are quite a lot of perverse fetishes out there that in the grey area of morality. Would Lovense satisfy people who are into sado-masochism? Asphyxiation? Humiliation? Race-play?

Knowing that there are fetishes borne from unhealthy traumatic events in one's life, would a "politically correct" ChatGPT-enabled s*x toy help to curb destructive s*xual fantasies? Could it help heal people who have psychologically-rooted s*xual dysfunction?

Perhaps Lovense will ultimately be an instrument of destruction. By prescribing to its users "mainstream" fantasies from the data it's trained on, the problems of contemporary s*xual relations will be exacerbated as a result.
