Are these similar to ones from Lightning Press/Lightning Source? I used to complain about those years ago. A few of my more niche textbooks come from them. They are really poor quality. Bad printing with cheap feeling paper and bog standard binding. On the other hand, I have a book from Lulu[0] and it's actually really nice. Not quite up to a "real" textbook but at least as good as a professional mass-produced paperback. [0] https://www.lulu.com/ |
