I feel like it's hard to get how important fast acceleration is until you have it. Kind of like people who insist that their 60Hz screen "looks just as good", or how their 10 year old laptop is "still super fast and why would I upgrade it?". Edit: Just to clarify, I'm not necessarily talking about Plaid levels of acceleration. But just going from a Suburu Crosstrek (One of my cars) to a Tesla in "chill" mode (which I usually keep my Tesla in for tire longevity and not making my wife car sick) feels so much safer. |
