Ask HN: HN used to be a daily read for me. Now I never go here. Why?

So I'm sorta a techie. I loved this site back when I graduated in college in 2007. I remember TechCrunch founder Michael Arrington said he loved this site. A lot has change over that past 15 years or so, but honestly I never visit this site anymore. I know this is a "how long is a piece of string question", but any ideas why? In some ways, I'd love to do it again. |

I was just thinking the other day about Ars Technica: they published a quite technical article about Ethernet, and I was taken a bit aback, thinking that I haven't seen such an article since years from them. Looking closer, it was a republished article from like 6 years ago. They used to be more technical and less political. Times change.
I think in the past 15 years HN has changed, and you have changed too, but not in the same direction.
