The most intuitive explanation of entropy ever:

entropy is a fancy way of explaining probability.

Things with higher probability tend to occur over things of lower probability.

Thus when certain aspects of the world like configurations of gas particles in a box are allowed to change configurations, they will move towards high probability configurations.

High probability configurations tend to be disordered. Hence the reason why we associate entropy with things becoming increasingly disordered. For example... gas particles randomly and evenly filling up an entire box is more probable then all gas particles randomly gathering on one side of the box.

If you understand what I just explained than you understand entropy better than the majority of people.
