CORBA is one of the first technologies that I came across and saw that it was kind of 'hot', but decided I'd learn it if I ended up really needing it. And I never did. It's important to learn when to ignore things in this field. It's never possible to be 100% sure, but there are always going to be 'new! hot!' things. |
