I know there are already guns that have fingerprint unlock feature. I wonder if the US constitution allows states to require such fingerprint unlock on all new guns.

I personally think the solution is requiring gun owners to carry insurance, much like drivers are required to carry car insurance.

New Jersey had such a law for a while but no production gun with that functionality is available for sale to the public so they removed it.
