I'm referring to Indian Programmer who came to Canada to start their own company to stay with the context. Not "in general, Immigrants formed corp more than Canadians born in Canada". US is different. Cost of business in Canada is high due to red-tapes and lower RoI than US (plus less Capital to go around). The romanticization of Indian programmers creating a successful tech company in Canada (just like they did in US) is just that for now, romanticization. Indian, specifically Punjabis, done better as Entrepreneur in non-tech in Canada. Hence, far fetched. |
