I have and briefly the majority of the time you're missing little to nothing by not using webfonts. Occasionally the design language of a physical media property is carried forward with the font in a way that is interesting enough to be worthwhile (ie _The Atlantic_'s title font is instantly recognizable but not critical). If you're bandwidth starved (ie ISDN or worse) then it's also a nice speedup. |
