I also despise this pattern, it's the same on yelp. I have friends who swear by yelp (I'm not sure why) but every time I get sent links by them their desktop website seems to be purposely absolute trash and nagging me every 10 seconds to download their app and sign in. I just refuse to deal with that kind of crap. I'm probably not the user they want on their platform and that's fine by me. |
