The title reminds me of my time in a call center. At that time I was trying to earn an income working as an inbound and outbound agent for a large german telecommunications network operator. When I was fired, my team leader gave me the advice: "There's no trying, just do or don't do." (in German of course)

I think I had a moment of post-traumatic stress disorder while reading the title.

But binpash seems to be a very useful and nice piece of software that i will gladly give a try. :)

This is what "Elizabeth Holmes" beleived in. I think this is a quote from Star Wars.
“If you're going to try, go all the way. Otherwise, don't even start. This could mean losing girlfriends, wives, relatives and maybe even your mind. It could mean not eating for three or four days. It could mean freezing on a park bench. It could mean jail. It could mean derision. It could mean mockery--isolation. Isolation is the gift. All the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it. And, you'll do it, despite rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine. If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is.”

– Charles Bukowski

Sunk cost fallacy. And the cause of the continuation of so many horrible wars. Take Quark's advice on the third rule of acquisition: https://youtu.be/hdQcGzbpN7s

> Never spend more for an acquisition than you have to.
