You can say no. I mentioned this to someone who reported to me (he was just a year out of college) and he was amazed. It never occurred to him that he didn't have to go to every meeting he was invited to. Discuss with your manager. "I'm being invited to all these meetings and I don't get any value from them. Do I really need to go?" Let him/her figure it out; that's what they're there for. |
