When blaming alcohol i always think of the middle east with low alcohol intake has highest rates of domestic violence. Which would suggest at the minimum that culture is a bigger factor. And also I'm curious to see if it evens out after a year. It could be that men who are more violent by nature tend to drink more. And that in societies where it's not accepted alcohol breaks the social barrier whereas middle eastern countries it's more accepted so alcohol is not needed. |
