In my slightly upmarket Johannesburg suburb I would guess about 80% of the houses have electric fences. You can figure out how old the installation is by the number of strands the fence has. It varies with fashion. The other fun game is swapping stories about the dumbest way you have shocked yourself on your own fence. Mine was by trying to lift a branch of my fence while barefoot using an aluminum pool pole. I thought my wife had turned the fence off. |
