That instance was from one of the mods, they posted about it here on HN a couple days ago too. They got roasted hard on r/3dprinting, but it's "official" as it can be. Personally moving to an instance that doesn't involve the mods (of any subreddit) is a benefit. https://old.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/comments/14a7sh5/join_us...
