The way to choose: Pick your application(s), then pick the OS that the application runs on, then pick the hardware that the OS runs on. If you try to do any of those steps in reverse, you will have endless trouble. I pick the apps I use. They run under Linux, so I pick the Linux distro that I prefer. Then I buy the hardware that is most suited to Linux (Lenovo with Intel chips). I don't have problems. If I do, it's because of something I've done wrong. |
