I have a password manager app that runs locally. It has a configurable and powerful password generator built-in. I use that when creating accounts. Most password managers, whether they are local or cloud-based, will have a password-generation feature. This is good, because it keeps the password between you and the app that's designed to safeguard it.

Now, why would a user wish to visit a third-party website just to generate some password? What is the value added that would convince your user to abandon his password manager's built-in function and use your website instead?
