Still find it odd that Reddit doesn't just buy out those apps, seems like it would be mutually beneficial to just about everybody.
Reddit wants a fine tuned engagement trap loaded with tracking/ads. The simple community UIs are basically the opposite of that.
Perhaps they could buy them out and run them to the ground, but maybe they were in too much of a rush to IPO.
