Except the official Reddit app makes it impossible for people with disabilities, or people that want a reasonably well moderated community, or people that just want a usable app. Enthusiast community that makes up probably 80% of the content on Reddit are going to see other options if they can't use third party apps. I mean would you continue to use the internet if you could only use AOL? Anytime your community is dependent on staying on one centurally controlled for-profit app with no alternatives, it's doomed. |
