Yikes. You'd think that VCs would have learned their lesson from the whole "Web3" and crypto debacles.

I remember late last year listening to a Planet Money podcast that had a partner from Sequoia (I think) espousing the future of crypto and Web3 and how they were deploying millions of dollars into crypto startups. I just remember thinking to myself how this partner had completely drunk the Kool-aid.

Now they're dumping money into anything vaguely AI related, whether it has the potential to actually generate value in a space that's rapidly approaching commoditization.
