This is by far one of the most core democratizing innovations that's been waayyy to underloved. The big giants have proprietary systems. These amazing computers with so many communication systems can't actually talk to each other. It's a huge shame. We really should mobilize some kind of opportunistic exchange system on Linux. For a brief moment Google had Eddystone, which let folks share urls with each other. That was at least something. Not much. Really wish the rest of the world cared about this a little more. We take it for granted. |
