Because Fedora doesn't force Snap on you or try to put ads in your environment.

There's also Linux Mint and Debian if you're hell bent on apt. They usually work right out of the box like Ubuntu does.

Ubuntu doesn't put ads in your environment, and I want snap and cannot understand why anyone wouldn't.

If you can't install snap packages, your distro is useless.

Well, most linux users and computer users in general disagree with you. I personally loathe snap and will not use software that is packaged only in snap. I use my distro just fine, far from useless.

But you're free to add snap to anything you like. The problem with Ubuntu is forcing it on users, not simply that snap exists.

Can you explain what you think is wrong with snap?
