TBF, after the October Revolution at Twitter, parts of Mastodon could be pretty overrun with both newly-arrived refugees and quite a few Fediverse old-timers snarking on the birbsite. People tend to talk about things that are salient to them, and disruption of large media institutions hits that button squarely. |
