This reads like they're maybe just not ready to be an entrepreneur, unrelated to open source or not. Single, small, niche product with no investors to pay back and no employees pulling in $78k/year after only a few years is a pretty good result and the reaction should be to try to grow it (second contract, more sponsors, second product, etc) not write it off as a failure. |
