Well, there goes the world. This was a Pyrrhic victory for the parent law firm. They'll likely languish a few months but they're the walking dead b/c they were a toxic work environment (and now they've broadcast the fact). Ditto for the spin-off. No winners here, only losers. Surprising how self-destructive assholes are. Here the law firm accumulated a "critical mass" of assholes and then blew up - call it "critical ass", maybe? Sadly, now anything you say now in private is public. We need to stop this. To do so I want all information (including linkages and identifiers) whatsoever captured by the 3-letter agencies, the phone company and all social media companies for a 3-year period to be released to the public in an easily-researched web site. All of it - from the President down. The release of this data will have at least two benefits: - everyone will be insanely busy analyzing it, - everyone will see the truth for that period, - we will come out with a clearer notion of who and what we are, what privacy means, how our use of information affects us and how people and politics really works. |
