Let’s say you are driving down the street in a suburban neighborhood. You see a kid throw a ball into the street. You see from how his body moved that it is a lightweight ball and that it doesn’t require drastic (or any) measures to avoid. Or you see that it is a very heavy object and requires evasive maneuvers. How exactly does a certain type of sensor help with this? Isn’t the problem entirely based on a software model of the world? |
