This is great advice, thanks. I have the means to pay someone instead, if that's the way the market works.

I should clarify: I bet a high caliber person would consider it a hobby project. It might be more appropriate for an amateur. It's about plain text documents. Storage might be able to be local only (this is where I need help). If there is ever a server to offer, it would likely be for a synchronizing feature like Anki.

I started down the road of learning Swift to build it myself, but with a full-time job, a family, and other hobbies competing for my time, progress is slow.
