people generally don't want to pay for anything, so it's difficult. though there are some success stories like Gitlab, most open source businesses end up changing their licensing to not be pure "open source", e.g. CockroachDB and MongoDB. Though at least in the former case they have a time provision that converts it back to AGPL IIRC. |
