Is it me or a16z completely destroyed their reputation as a reputable VC after the crypto frenzy? I just can't seem to read this with a straight face. They keep trying to find the 'next world wide web,' and either are late or it fails to meet the hype. It's not gonna happen again. That was a once in a century event in which scrappy inventors and investors could get in on the ground floor with tiny sums of money, on what was soon to be the biggest technology boom ever. Nowadays, everything is too big and expensive and instantly-saturated. |
