I didn’t pass a judgement on those companies, just pointing out that you need some form of demand (greenwashers) in order to have any supply (CDR companies) because it’s the classic two-sided marketplace chicken-and-egg bootstrapping problem The purpose of the market can also be clear (removing CO2 from the air) while simultaneously the “value to humanity” is unclear (hard to measure) |
