I graduated engineering school with a 2.7 GPA, I had failed 2 classes twice, finally passed with a B/D on the third try (heat transfer/stats), another class I failed once and passed the second time with a B, fluids. I've since had a great career, and if the folks in my graduating class are any indication, GPA doesn't really predict career success.
