I've been leveraging the iOS notes app too for a similar personal distillation of subjects with my personal summarization of the article etc. It's also a breadcrumbs of things I found interesting on the internet which are growing every more difficult to independently search on the internet again after so much time passes. I've been leveraging more and more the native tags functionality which makes grouping notes streamlined. The breadcrumbs part is a good point. I can look at an old note and see what wacky rabbit hole I had visited that day.
