I consult in Enterprise and these tools are technologically great, but their company strategies make them impossible to scale. Their pricing model usually makes them too expensive since they normally are a small part of a bigger solution which has a lot of components to it (including labor…). They also have a very small ecosystem compared to open source frameworks in python, javascript and so on, this means talent will be harder to hire and consulting and outsourcing will be more expensive. Finally, they have a tendency to play with pricing, so you never know what you will pay in 1-2-3 years.
