Theres a book called "The Stupidity Paradox: The Power and Pitfalls of Functional Stupidity at Work" by Mats Alvesson. It touches on the subject of how being smart enough to be stupid at work is sometimes beneficial for everyone at a company...and how it also sometimes is not.
