Same thing at the company I recently worked at-- a maker of software for car dealerships & manufacturers. The product marketing mentions AI. I asked a staff data scientist (has been with company for several years) if AI is used in our products. "No." It's quite amazing how pervasive Fraud & pseudo-Fraud is in the American economy. Regulators seem to turn a blind eye to so much of it. I do think it's fun to point out in the ingredients list, sometimes it's a little unexpected, like on a bag of chips. "Mmm, sawdust" is kind of funny because it sounds bad but is completely harmless.
