The same appeal as .NET on the Windows ecosytem, Objective-C on NeXT/OS X, Java/Kotlin on Android (plenty of stuff that is Android only beyond the basic standard library, C++ OS specific SDKs,.... Many people are more than happy to do all their career on a specific platform. |
