Sites with a clue (like YouTube and Vimeo) have been serving HTML5 video for a couple of years now. It's just a matter of adding another step to your automated transcoding workflow (you have one, right?) For a small indie site the disk space consumed by keeping video in 2 or 3 different formats might be an issue, but for CBS? |
