I wouldn't see why it wouldn't use Whisper. I just wish they could have gotten whisper.cpp working for live transcription on device. But you can also turn on Voice Control and type with your voice without using Open AI - iOS dictation is getting better but not quite on par with Whisper by any stretch. |
